The End of Our Chapter with Kādo Collectables.

Posted by Kado Collectables on

It is with great regret, and sadness that Ryan and I have to write this message. After 5 years of being a part of this incredible community, Kādo Collectables will be coming to an end.

Kādo Collectables started off as an idea. A means to obtain Japanese Pokémon cards at a price that seemed affordable to everyone here in the UK. Bringing the latest booster boxes and single cards into collections at a price similar to that of Japan. This idea grew globally and we extended our offering across 5 continents.

We’ve experienced so much in such a short amount of time being operational, from our inception, we cannot thank you enough for the support and continued trust you’ve had in our service. Without this community, we would be nothing, so I want to share with you my gratitude to you all.

The decision to cease trading as Kādo Collectables did not come lightly to Ryan and I. As we continued to be committed to providing the highest service we could, social, economical and political factors rendered us not able to continue to do so. With the imminent release of the EU GSPR regulations, affecting our ability to trade into EU member states without a designated person residing in the EU, now felt like a good time to hang up our boots.

However, I feel we leave the community at a high point. The cost of Japanese products seems to be more affordable than ever. Ordering the latest sets can be done easily through a variety of sites, and from our experience of attending a various card shows, Japanese sealed products are far easier to obtain at prices that we could have only dreamt of 5 years ago!

With all of the above in mind, I want to thank you all one last time and the way I can do this is to share with you that EVERYTHING in store will be discounted by 25% until January 31st 2025, where we will close our proverbial doors for good.

This isn’t goodbye, merely the end of this chapter, and the start of a new one for us all. Thank you for all of the support you’ve offered. Good luck in your collection and I wish you continued success in the future.
